Dog The Bounty Hunter has claimed he is getting a ‘crazy’ number of tips on Brian Laundrie.

The FBI is keen to speak to Laundrie about the homicide of his fiance, Gabby Petito, but his whereabouts is unknown.

The reality star, whose real name is Duane Lee Chapman, told Newsmax that his operation has received more than 2,000 calls.

“We’re getting calls like crazy,” he said. “I think the success of this bounty hunt is going to be the tip line.”

However, he has not passed any of the information he has received to the police.

Dog said: “I guess we kind of do the same thing but I really don’t pay too much attention, like they don’t pay too much attention to me.

“After 45 years, I don’t call the police, they’re usually called on me – so I don’t know what they’re doing.

“I can’t call up and say, ‘Hey, G-Man, what’s going where’s your leads?’

“And they don’t call me and say, ‘Hey, Dog, where’s your leads?’ – so I have no idea.”

Earlier this week, the 68-year-old claimed he had ‘found a campsite’ where Laundrie allegedly stayed with members of his family.

He told Fox News: “They were registered, went through the gate. They’re on camera. They were here.

“We think at least if he’s not here right now, we are sure he was caught on camera as he went in the gate – that he was here for sure. Not over in the swamp.”

He continued: “Allegedly, what we’re hearing, is two people left on the 8th.

“Three people came in on the 6th, and two people left on the 8th. I think he’s been here for sure.”
