Donald Trump, who recently branded Russian President Vladimir Putin a ‘genius,’ is suing Hillary Clinton over her alleged ‘unthinkable plot’.
According to reports, the former president filed a 108-page lawsuit on March 24 in which he accuses his old rival of falsely making a conspiracy against him, involving Russia and the 2016 presidential election.
It reportedly reads: “In the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton and her cohorts orchestrated an unthinkable plot – one that shocks the conscience and is an affront to this nation’s democracy.

“Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty.”
Clinton reportedly isn’t the only person who is mentioned in the lawsuit.
Supposedly, it also mentions ex-FBI officials, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page, amongst others.
It went on to apparently accuse the defendants of ‘obstruction of justice’ and ‘theft of trade secrets’. Plus, it reportedly claimed that there was unlawful ‘hacking’ into Trump’s private forms of communication.

It’s believed that the lawsuit is seeking over $72million in damages, which will reportedly include legal fees.
However, in another court filing in relation to the case, Trump’s attorneys apparently only asked for $21million.
One of the defendants in the suit, named Peter Strzok, has reportedly blasted the 75-year-old’s move.
The former FBI counterintelligence agent’s lawyer, Aitan Goelman, supposedly said: “We haven’t had a chance to read the complaint, but knowing the former president, there’s probably very little in there that’s true.”
News of the lawsuit comes shortly after it was reported that Donald Trump has been accused of ‘breaking federal law‘.
According to The American Bridge Super Pac, which is a Democratic fundraising organisation, Trump allegedly spent large sums of money on a campaign before ‘formally declaring that he will run’.
