Donald Trump Junior recently implied that a ‘higher power’ destroyed the George Floyd mural in Ohio.
After hearing the tribute was struck by lightning, the former president’s son tweeted: “It’s almost like a higher power is telling us something.
“When was the last time you heard of a brick building being destroyed by lightning?

“I am a builder and I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of it.”
Unsurprisingly, his comments didn’t go down well on Twitter.
One penned: “No Jr, you may be a developer, but you are by any means not a builder. As for the subject… YES!!! Brick structures can be seriously damaged by a lightning strike if there is metal running parallel internally or travel through brick or mortar, same as concrete. ”
Another added: “If you’re a builder, your father is a stable genius.”
“You can always tell an adult knows what they’re talking about when they have to pretend an imaginary sky friend agrees with them,” a third remarked.

The George Floyd mural was painted in July last year, by artist David Ross.
According to reports, authorities in the area are already putting plans in place to rebuild the mural in a new location.
On June 25, Derek Chauvin was sentenced to 22 and a half years for the murder of Mr Floyd.
The sentence was handed down by Judge Peter Cahill and was 10 years longer than the state guidelines actually suggest.
