Donald Trump has challenged President Joe Biden to a boxing match, telling reporters at a press conference he’d knock him out ‘in seconds’.

The 75-year-old is set to MC a fight between Evander Holyfield and Victor Belfort in Miami over the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the event at a press conference, Trump said if he could pick any opponent in the world to fight, it would be Biden.

He said: “If I had to box anybody in the world, and I’ll take a pass on the professional boxers because that can be a very dangerous subject, but if I had to box somebody probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden.

“He’d go down very, very quickly. I think Biden would go down within the first few seconds.”

Biden actually said something similar about Trump back in 2018.

According to CNN, he said: “They asked me would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.”

Trump has been keeping a relatively low profile ever since he moved to Florida and out of the White House.

He is yet to formally announce a run for the presidency again in 2024, but recently confirmed he will ‘100 per cent’ do it.

He told Mornings With Maria: “Have courage. It’s going to happen, we are going to turn it around. I am with you.

“And the polls show that everybody wants me to do it. One hundred per cent I’m thinking about running, and we will, I think, be very successful.”
