A woman who is claiming to be Madeleine McCann has finally answered some of the big questions surrounding her identity on Dr. Phil.
Three-year-old Madeleine McCann vanished from her bed in a holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3, 2007.
Over the years, she has continued to make headlines around the world and has been described as ‘the most heavily reported missing person case in modern history’.
Earlier this year, a woman went viral after claiming to be the missing child and she’s now had a high-profile TV interview to explain why she thinks this.

Polish national Julia Wandelt, 21, originally began making headlines after taking to social media under the username @iammadeleinemccann.
On the account, she documented a number of distinguishing features that she believes mean she could be missing child – including a speck in her eye and a freckle on her leg.
And now she’s sat down with American TV personality Dr Phil to discuss her claims further.
In the interview – which aired on March 27 – the pair discuss the physical markings that Wandelt shares with Madeleine.
She also opens up about some of her earliest memories, claiming: “It was the beach and water, like sea or ocean, and there were turtles and children…
“And I remembered light-coloured buildings, like white or very light colours, sunlight on these buildings.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Wandelt discusses her mother and says she never truly bonded with her.

She claims her mum would ‘change the subject’ whenever she asked anything about the missing memories of her childhood.
Wandelt also alleges that there are no photos of her mother pregnant, that she has no birth certificate and that her Polish child health book has its first six pages missing.
While the young woman appears to be unsure about her identity, her family has said they’ve been left ‘devastated at this current situation’.
In a statement they shared with Dr Phil, they said: “For us as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and step-niece.
“We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.
“We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia – threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the Internet.
“The internet won’t forget, and it’s obvious that Julia isn’t Maddie. We are devastated at this current situation.”
Currently, Wandelt is awaiting DNA test results to prove once and for all whether her claims are correct.
While Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, have yet to comment on the situation.
