Five Complete Strangers ‘Discover Dwayne Johnson Is Their Half-Brother’

Five complete strangers have ‘discovered that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is their half-brother’ thanks to a DNA test. 

Lisa Purves, Paula Parsons, Trevor Edwards, Adrian Bowles and Aaron Fowler were all fathered by the WWE legend’s dad, Rocky Johnson, and have said they finally ‘want to be recognised’.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the half-siblings opened up about their family bond and growing up without their father, who passed away, aged 75, in 2020.

Parsons told the news outlet: “We just want to be recognised. We sat on the back burner forever. [Rocky] was our dad just as well as Dwayne’s.”

Purves, who is a keen to turn the unusual story into a documentary, added: “I never wanted to run into Dwayne and have anyone know I was his b****** sister.”

Explaining how they all got in contact, Edwards said that he was constantly compared to ‘The Rock’ and in 2017, he managed to contact his uncle, Ricky Johnson.

Amazingly, Johnson agreed to a DNA test and once their relationship was confirmed, he was ‘welcomed into the family’.

Like his sibling, Fowler was often told he looked like ‘The Rock’ and so decided to take a test in 2020. When the results came back, it was revealed he had a match with Purves.

At this point, the mission to find all their siblings begun.

Recalling speaking to Fowler, Purves said: “He reached out right away, and we talked and I cried, and he cried. And then he told me about Paula, Trevor and Adrian.”

“So I reached out to all three of them. This all happened in one day. I was so excited – what a day!”

After making the shock discovery, the quintets have stressed that they don’t want ‘anything’ from their celebrity half-brother and just wanted to be identified as Rocky Johnson’s children.
