Ed Sheeran has become a dad for a second time after his ‘wife secretly gave birth,’ reports The Sun.
The ‘Shape of You’ singer took to Instagram on May 19 and confirmed that he and his spouse, Cherry, had welcomed another daughter, who will be the younger sister of one-year-old Lyra.
Alongside a photo of a tiny sock, he penned: “Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of four.”

The infant has yet to be named.
Thousands of fans have taken to the comments and sent their congratulations to Sheeran and his family.
One said: “Congratulations! Incredible news.”
Another added: “Congrats Ed! Can’t wait for the music you make that’s inspired by her.”
Chatting to The Sun, a source has reportedly said that Sheeran and his partner wanted to keep the pregnancy quiet to make the time even more ‘special’.
Apparently, they said: “He just feels when you’re in the public eye a huge amount, these things are even more special if you can keep them quiet.
“They’ve done an incredible job to keep it all under wraps, but finally it’s time to share their happy news now that their baby has arrived safely.

“It’s testament to the people he loves and works with that this never leaked out — it’s almost unheard of in showbiz.”
It’s believed a spokesperson also spoke to the publication, adding: “Ed and Cherry recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl and are on cloud nine.
“They’re so excited for Lyra to have a little sister and the four of them are currently enjoying some precious family time before Ed heads back on tour.
“We are delighted for them, and we hope that you can respect their privacy at this special time.”
