Marvel fans have been left feeling embarrassed after only just realising who Elizabeth Olsen is related to.
Olsen, 34, is an American actress who gained worldwide recognition for her role as Wanda Maximoff (otherwise known as the Scarlet Witch) in the Avengers films.
Her performance has received tons of praise, and she’s also received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
But at one point, it was Olsen’s relations that were the ones in the spotlight.
Find out why Elizabeth Olsen almost changed her name in the clip below…
If you couldn’t figure it out from her name, well, you probably weren’t huge fans of the sitcoms Two of a Kind and Full House.
Yep, Olsen is the younger sister of the 00s icons Mary-Kate and Ashley.
The Olsen twins made their acting debut as infants and went on to star in a number of TV shows and films, including Passport to Paris and When in Rome.
The former actresses also feature regularly in fashion magazines.

However, they now shy away from the spotlight, and it’s now centred on their younger sister.
Many people have taken to Twitter to admit that they’ve only just figured out that Elizabeth is the younger sibling of the Olsen twins.
One person admits: “When I found out Elizabeth Olsen was their younger sister I fainted.”
Another adds: “When I found that out I think last year and I was shook! Had no clue they even had a younger sister.”
“I really had no idea Elizabeth Olsen was an Olsen sister,” somebody else says. “Zero clue.”
While a fourth joins in, commenting: “The amount of people that had no idea Elizabeth Olsen is in fact the sister of Mary-Kate & Ashley is just embarrassing.”
Just like her sisters, Olsen ventured into acting at a young age, which she has since said she had a lot of ‘insecurities’ about.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, the Doctor Strange star admits that it was nerve-racking to follow in their footsteps.
“I always knew that it was what I wanted to do, I just had a lot of insecurities about wanting to do it,” she explains.
“I’ve always felt that presence, which made me work harder, and maybe have a chip on my shoulder to be over-prepared and disciplined, so I could feel like I’m really earning it.”
While on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, Olsen goes on to say her sisters’ fame made growing up ‘weird’.
“It’s weird growing up with that,” she says.
“The paparazzi part was the strange part because they follow you, and as a child it was very scary.
“They were obsessed with them turning 18.”
