Elliot Page has said that his life has ‘improved drastically’ since coming out as transgender.
The Umbrella Academy star appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers and reflected on how things have changed for the better.
He told the host: “I think of the times in my life where I was the most uncomfortable, where I was the most unwell.

“Those were the times where I was the most angry. And I was the most unkind to myself or self-righteous or all of those things. It’s improved my life drastically.
“I hope the people who do have an issue with me, can either hear that or embrace that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Page discussed his new focus, revealing that he is embracing the ‘present moment’.
He said: “What I want to focus on right now, and has been so extraordinary is the degree of joy that I feel, the degree of presence that I feel, I feel a way that I really never thought possible for a long, long time.
“That’s really what I’m focusing on and embracing the most. But of course, the moment can be overwhelming.”

The 35-year-old came out as trans in 2020 in an open letter that was posted on his social media pages.
In the written piece, Page penned: “I feel lucky to be writing this.
“To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life. I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it feels to finally love who I am enough to pursue my authentic self.”
