Elon Musk has broken his silence on the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp defamation trial.
The SpaceX founder, who is rumoured to have had a relationship with the Aquaman star, has made his feelings clear over on Twitter.
In response to a series of tweets about the high-profile case, he penned: “I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible.”

The comments were in response to claims made by the podcaster Lex Fridman, who said: “My takeaways from Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial: 1. Fame is one hell of a drug (for some).
“2. Psychiatrists and lawyers come in drastically varying levels of skill.
“3. Lying to millions of people is something humans are capable of.
“4. Love can be messy.
“5. Mega pint of wine.”
Musk’s comments on the case come after Heard opened up about the billionaire when testifying.
Recalling chatting to him at the Met Gala, she claimed: “I was standing in line right in front of a gentleman. It was Elon.

“I didn’t recognise him at first. We started talking and he had reminded me that we had met once before.”
She added: “He seemed like a real gentleman. He was really nice. He sat at a nearby table and we got to speaking that night and then eventually became friends.”
Heard went on to allege that she and Depp were meant to attend the event together, as guests of the designer Ralph Lauren.
The actress claimed she didn’t know if the 58-year-old was going to show up, as she ‘didn’t have a phone at that time’ because the actor had allegedly ‘thrown it out of the window’.
“I wasn’t sure what was going on or when he would show up or if he would show up,” she claimed. “I had no way of knowing.”
