In response, YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson – otherwise known as MrBeast – quipped: “If that happens can I have Twitter?”
Surprisingly, the Tesla CEO responded by simply saying: “Okay.”
MrBeast then replied: “Jokes aside, be safe! I wuv u.”
Musk began bringing up his death when he saw a telegram by the head of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos.
It stated: “From the testimony of the captured chief of staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it follows that the ground-based subscriber equipment of the Starlink satellite company Elon Musk was delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol by military helicopters.
“Elon Musk is thus involved with supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications, and for this, you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon, no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”
At the time, Musk jokingly replied: “The word ‘Nazi’ doesn’t mean what he seems to think it does.”
However, many of the billionaire’s fans didn’t find the tweet so amusing.
Taking the ‘threat’ seriously, one commented: “Time to increase security dramatically. The worst case is, it’s extra money not necessary and a bit of extra friction to travel. Best case is it saves your life from an assassination attempt.”
