Elon Musk is being trolled on social media over his Pride Month post.
It all started when the SpaceX founder tweeted a meme that showed several different firms – including Facebook and Twitter – with the rainbow versions of their logos.
He commented: “June is almost here, here it comes!”

Shocked users were quick to respond to the tweet and share their thoughts.
Commenting on the post, one person penned: “Does LGBTQ pride month offend you? What the f*** is this?”
“Straight people have never been oppressed for anything in the entire history of anything ever,” a second said. “Pride Month is a celebration for what we’ve gone through and that not you, the government, or anyone else can tell us who we can love or not.”
Fuming, a third wrote: “Translation: ‘I’m anti-gay but I’m afraid to say it because people would rightfully treat me like the huge asshole I am.”

However, others defended the billionaire, arguing that Musk was actually mocking the corporations for ‘exploiting’ the opportunity.
“No, he’s clearly pointing out how corporations exploit #PrideMonth by changing their logos to the #PrideFlag to act like they are allies,” commented one Twitter user.
Another agreed, adding: “No, it offends him that companies take advantage of this and when June ends they just go back”
Pitching in, a third mused: “What the hell- this is clearly a joke about how companies just try to market pride month by changing their logos to a rainbow flag version. How did this fly over your head?”
Musk isn’t the only celebrity to have caused offence during Pride Month.
Last year, Kim Kardashian faced a backlash when she used the annual celebration to promote her mobile app game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.
