Elon Musk And Grimes Slammed Over Second Child’s Unusual Name

Elon Musk and Grimes’ second child’s unusual name has been slammed on social media.

The pair, who already have a son called X Æ A-12, reportedly welcomed a baby girl – via surrogate – in December, and her name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk.

Musk and Grimes’ secret came out when the singer was interviewed by Variety and there was a ‘slip-up’.

The 30-year-old was chatting to a reporter at her home in Austin, Texas, when her newborn daughter made herself vocally present.

When asked if there was an infant crying in the background, Grimes replied: “I’m not at liberty to speak on these things.”

However, the baby continued to cry, so the singer laughed, adding: “She’s a little colicky too. I don’t know. I don’t know what I was thinking.”

Grimes went on to tell the publication that she decided on surrogacy for her second child, as she had a ‘scary’ first pregnancy which at one point, resulted in her ‘collapsing’.

She explained: “He was pressing on my nerves, so I kept collapsing.

“I took a few steps and collapsed. It was kind of scary because you don’t want to fall a lot when you’re eight months pregnant. So I would just crawl to the bathroom and crawl back or whatever.”

In September last year, Musk stated that he and Grimes were ‘semi-separated,’ but still cared deeply for one another.

Referencing this in her interview with Variety, the singer explained that they have a very ‘fluid’ relationship.
