Emily Ratajkowski has accused Robin Thicke of ‘groping’ her on the set of his 2013 music video for ‘Blurred Lines’.
In the model’s upcoming book, ‘My Body,’ she claims that the singer was a ‘little drunk’ on set and ‘out of nowhere’ decided to make a move.
According to Rolling Stone, she wrote: “Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt the coolness and foreignness of a stranger’s hands cupping my bare breasts from behind.
“I instinctively moved away, looking back at Robin Thicke.
“He smiled a goofy grin and stumbled backward, his eyes concealed behind his sunglasses. My head turned to the darkness beyond the set.”
The 30-year-old then claimed that the director, Diane Martel, cut in and asked her whether she was okay.
Elsewhere in the book, Ratajkowski reportedly says that she didn’t come forward with the allegation at the time as she wanted to protect the director’s work.
When Martel first approached her about the project, the mum-of-one claimed she ‘wasn’t into the idea’ at all. However, she eventually changed her mind.
“We just connected personally, she’s smart, she’s really culturally sensitive, and she talked to me about her ideas and how the women would be in the video,” Ratajkowski has penned.
According to The Sunday Times, the model’s allegations have been backed up by Martel, who recalled the moment he ‘grabbed [Ratajkowski’s] breast’.
She alleged: “I remember the moment that he grabbed her breasts. One in each hand. He was standing behind her as they were both in profile.
“I screamed in my very aggressive Brooklyn voice, ‘What the f**k are you doing, that’s it! The shoot is over!’”
Martel then claimed that the singer apologised for allegedly groping the model.
Thicke has not responded to the claims.
