Emily Ratajkowski has revealed that she doesn’t ‘believe in straight people’.

Ratajkowski, 31, has been making headlines since splitting up with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, 34, earlier this year, from saying women shouldn’t be blamed for dating married men to making digs at ‘ugly men’.

The Gone Girl star has now sat down with Harper Bazaar and developed further on the bisexual comment she made last month, by saying that ‘sexuality is on a sliding scale’.

At the time, the supermodel stitched a TikTok video from Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell, who said: “If you identify as bisexual… do you own a green velvet couch?”

In response, Ratajkowski showed herself sitting on a green velvet sofa while smirking.

For her November 2022 cover story, Ratajkowski referenced this and told the publication: “I think sexuality is on a sliding scale. I don’t really believe in straight people.”

When asked if the joke was based on any truth, she added: “My girlfriend came over and was like, ‘B****, have you seen the green-couch thing?’. She was laughing at me because my green couch is so big.”

Ratajkowski continued: “I want to be able to have fun with how I present myself in the world without feeling like I’m a bad feminist or a good feminist.

“Duh. I don’t want to be a part of your club if you don’t want to have me. It’s fine!”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ratajkowski was asked about the state of her marriage, to which she said she doesn’t want to discuss out of respect for her son.

However, the ‘Blurred Lines’ star did comment: “I can tell you that I have never been single before.

“I feel all the emotions. I feel anger, sadness. I feel excitement. I feel joy. I feel levity.

“Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is nice because it makes me believe that I’ll be OK.”

When Ratajkowski originally took to TikTok and made the comment about her seemingly being bisexual, many fans rushed to the comments.

“Yet another win for the ladies,” one responded.

Another joked: “Celeb coming out in cryptic TikToks is my new favourite genre.”

Someone else said: “Don’t play with my heart Emrata, don’t.”

While a fourth commented: “Wasn’t on my bingo card but happy to be here.”

Although Ratajkowski has made numerous comments about her sexuality in recent months, dating is not her number one priority.

Following her split from Bear-McClard, she is believed to be ‘focusing’ on their one-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo.

A source reportedly told People magazine: “They split recently. It was Em’s decision. She is doing OK. She is strong and focused on her son. She loves being a mom.”

Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard broke up after four years of marriage.
