Emma Watson And Rupert Grint’s Reunion in ‘Harry Potter’ Series Leaves Fans In Tears

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s reunion in Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts has left fans in tears. 

The trailer for the series, which has been created to celebrate 20 years since the release of the first film, sees the pair reminisce about their time together on set. 

At one point, Grint can be seen taking Watson’s hand and saying: “It’s a strong bond that we’ll always have.”

Fans were quick to share their thoughts on the heart-warming moment.

One wrote: “The first movie couple that I was rooting for. Ron and Hermione, Emma and Rupert played them perfectly. My heart is melting.” 

“I just saw this image and my Hermione/Ron shipping heart just melted,” said another.

A third person commented: “I know this isn’t supposed to be Ron and Hermione but it looks like them, I’m sorry. Romione is my OTP [one true pairing].” 

Singer Ariana Grande even joined in and shared a clip of the touching moment on her Instagram story alongside the caption: “Help me.” 

The trailer also shows fan favourites Daniel Radcliffe, Helena Bonham Carter, Tom Felton, and Bonnie Wright all return to discuss what the famous franchise means to them.

Fans took to Twitter to comment on another sweet moment that saw Radcliffe, who played Harry in the eight films, join Watson and Grint and tell them they’ll ‘always be family’.

One said alongside a teary emoji: “The last scene of the Harry Potter Reunion where Harry, Ron and Hermione laugh and say, we will always be family.”

While another added: “Going back to Hogwarts is really like a family reunion.”
