Identity Of Deal Or No Deal Banker Finally Revealed After Years Of Mystery
The identity of the Deal or No Deal banker has finally been revealed.
For nearly two decades, viewers of the show have speculated about the true identity of the mysterious Banker, whose voice was heard but never seen on screen.
Now, after 20 years, the secret has finally been exposed.
While the Banker’s identity remained hidden during the original run of Deal or No Deal, which aired from 2005 to 2016, the Banker’s involvement extended beyond voice acting.
He also played a crucial role behind the scenes, serving as an executive producer on the show. This dual role came as a surprise to fans, many of whom were unaware of his creative influence.
Although Noel Edmonds, the original host, was believed to be friends with the Banker, he never publicly confirmed his identity.
With almost 3,000 episodes aired during Edmonds’ tenure, the show became a staple of British daytime TV.

As revealed by Pointless host Richard Osman, the enigmatic figure behind the iconic phone calls was none other than actor and television producer Glenn Hugill, per MailOnline.
Fans of British television may recognize Hugill from his role as Detective Alan McKenna on Coronation Street.
He appeared in 86 episodes of the long-running soap from 1996 to 1997.
In that storyline, McKenna was engaged to Fiona Middleton, portrayed by Angela Griffin. However, the wedding was called off after McKenna learned of Fiona’s affair with Jim McDonald (played by Charles Lawson).
After leaving Coronation Street, Hugill shifted his focus to production, launching his own company, Possessed.
The company was eventually acquired by ITV, after which Hugill joined forces with Jimmy Kimmel’s media group, Wheelhouse.

Deal or No Deal was rebooted in 2023, with Stephen Mulhern stepping in as host.
However, the identity of the current Banker remains unknown.
“I don’t know who the Banker is,” Mulhern admitted. “So I wouldn’t be able to recognize who it was – he could walk past me at any point.”
He confirmed only that the Banker’s voice is male but offered no additional details.
Now, fans are speculating about the current voice behind the phone, hoping another big reveal may be just around the corner.
