Netflix Fans Praise ‘Absolutely Wild’ Crime Documentary As The Best Thing Since Tiger King
Netflix fans are praising an ‘absolutely wild’ crime documentary which they have described as the best thing since Tiger King.
The wild true crime series about eccentric zoo operator Joseph Maldonado-Passage – best known as Joe Exotic – and his feud with Carole Baskin was the show that everyone was talking about at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Within its first 10 days, it was viewed 34.3 million times, making it one of Netflix’s most successful documentaries, and it received favourable reviews from critics and viewers.
It has been pretty tough to replicate its success, but people think they have found a series on the streaming service which might be on par with Tiger King.

Last Stop Larrimah follows 11 outlandish residents in the Australian outback town of Larrimah.
When one of the residents – Paddy Moriarty – mysteriously disappeared in December 2017, the remaining citizens became suspects in the case and a long history of internal conflict came to light, as per Australian Broadcast Corporation.
The 70-year-old went missing with his dog and was last seen at the Larrimah Hotel, otherwise known as the Pink Panther Pub.
Authorities carried out searches both on land and in the air for Moriarty – with police suspecting that there was ‘no sign of any disturbance’.

But with the town’s small population, everyone instantly became a suspect. All 10 of Moriarty’s neighbours – who were all over the age of 70 – were questioned by the police.
These neighbours have denied any responsibility.
The two-part documentary initially aired on HBO and it has since been added to Netflix.
Last Stop Larrimah has an impressive 92% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has found itself in the top 10 charts on the streaming service.
Viewers have since taken to social media to react to the documentary.
One person pens: “If you’re after an absolutely wild two-part true crime documentary, Last Stop Larrimah on Netflix is for you.”
Another viewer adds: “Last Stop Larrimah on Netflix is amazing – most gonzo tale since Tiger King. It’s also the best advertisement for using sunscreen I’ve ever seen.”
