Netflix’s ‘Best Movie’ Is Making Viewers Anxious From Start To Finish
Netflix viewers have been left anxious from the start to finish of one its ‘best movies.’
Fans have unearthed a gripping thriller on the streaming platform and are taking to social media to share praise.
One viewer writes: “This movie on Netflix is intense as f***, lord I’ve had like 10 heart attacks watching this damn movie.”
Another adds: “Watched it yesterday. Stressed me out pretty good. Good stuff.”
A third shares: “The movie on Netflix gave me terrible anxiety from beginning to end…”
“That was THE most anxiety-filled, stress-inducing, rollercoaster of emotions I’ve ever felt watching a movie! Why would y’all make this?” somebody else comments.

Since debuting on Netflix, the title has been incredibly popular with viewers. It reportedly accumulated over 24 million views after three days of being on the platform.
However, it has faced critique from critics who’ve suggested that the plot could feel a little too safe at times, as evidenced by its 59% Rotten Tomatoes score.
Directed by Albert Pintó, the Spanish-speaking survival thriller follows a pregnant woman named Mia (played by Anna Castillo) escaping a totalitarian country.
She’s forced to fight for her life when a violent storm knocks the container in which she has been hiding overboard.
Trapped, the woman must give birth and survive for her baby.
Fans of the film have speculated whether it’s based on a true story, but this has been quashed by both the director Pintó and Castillo.

In an interview with ES Euro, Castillo explained that the film is about a ‘dystopian reality’ and the extreme lengths someone would go through to escape it.
“The people who die every day at sea are terrible. But this movie is not about that. I already did Mediterranean, which was a social drama that talked about open arms, and it is a dystopian reality,” the actress explained.
“The totalitarian regime serves to put the character in context and understand what this girl is doing fleeing in the container.”
According to Netflix, Nowhere is based on a story by Indiana Lista, who also wrote the screenplay, along with Ernest Riera, Miguel Ruz, Seanne Winslow, and Teresa Rosendoy.
