Nicole Kidman says she was forced to pause filming scenes of her new movie as she ‘didn’t want to org*** anymore.’

The 57-year-old actress has opened up about the intensity of working on scenes opposite The Iron Claw star Harris Dickinson, 28, in their upcoming thriller.

This latest role is far different from anything Kidman has done, pushing the star ‘out of my comfort zone.’

On The Graham Norton Show, Kidman was asked whether she had concerns about the amount of intimate scenes in her new movie, to which she replied: “Not at all. I loved the script, I love supporting women in the industry, and it was just really good.

“It is exciting and bold, and I am always looking to push out of my comfort zone.”

When asked why she had decided to go for such a bold role, Kidman shared: “I’ve always been on a quest as an actor, I’m always going, where have I not been? And what can I explore as a human being? And this was an area I’d never been.”

Kidman has been married to country singer Keith Urban for 18 years, and the couple shares two daughters.

Discussing filming alongside family life, she said: “Unfortunately, when you have a family at home and everything, there has to be a sort of agreement that’s made where you go, ‘I’m now going to go into this and I’m asking your permission to let me go.’

“So there’s a releasing of you into your artistic life and then you come back to your home and your real life. But there is a sort of letting go that’s required.”

The racey A24 film, directed by Halina Reijn, follows a powerful CEO who jeopardizes her career and family life by having an affair with a younger intern.

Alongside Kidman and Dickinson, it also stars Talk To Me actress Sophie Wilde and Antonio Banderas of The Mask of Zorro.

Kidman received critical recognition for her performance in the movie at the Venice Film Festival, where she was awarded Best Actress and earned a seven-minute ovation, reports Deadline.

In an interview with The Sun, the actress admitted she was so ‘turned on’ during filming she had to pause at one point.

She told the news outlet: “There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me.’

“There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to org*** anymore. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it.'”

In an interview with Vanity Fair, she added: “It left me ragged.”

The highly anticipated A24 film Babygirl arrives in cinemas on Christmas Day in the U.S. and January 10 in the U.K.
