People are saying a Netflix comedy drama is the ‘best show’ as they binge it all in just one night.

The ever-popular streaming service has released yet another show that fans are obsessed with.

Since its conception, Netflix’s original series have become some of the most popular on the site – and they’re going nowhere.

The platform’s original series are expected to make up the majority of its content in the coming years.

But one new show in particular has got fans hooked from the start.

One fan writes: “This show legitimately feels like a breath of fresh air.”

Another adds: “It made me rethink my whole life… it made me bawl my eyes out. I wish I had this series sooner.”

“This is what I needed in my life, the best series I’ve watched,” a third comments.

“I’m in awe of this show,” another writes. “This is easily the best series of the year and I will fight anyone on that.”

A fifth simply adds: “I binged this show in less than a day and I’m obsessed!”

The show was created by Erin Foster and her sister Sara and is inspired by their personal lives.

The siblings are hosts of The World’s First Podcast and have also starred in the reality TV parody series Barely Famous.

When asked about the series, Erin told Harper Bazaar: “I would say that the best writing comes from personal experience because you can speak to a unique perspective that you have in the situation.”

The cast is full of recognizable faces, including Critics Choice Award winner Kristen Bell, famous for her roles in the hit series The Good Place, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Disney‘s Frozen.

Bell acts alongside Adam Brody, most popular for his roles in The O.C. and Jennifer’s Body.

The Netflix original has a close-to-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, achieving an incredible 95% on the Tomatometer and a rating of 8.1/10 on IMDb.

Even critics are raving about it.

Chris Wasser of the Sunday Independent wrote: “Witty and endearing with a snappy premise and a terrific cast.”

Kelly Lawler for USA Today remarked: “It’s possible a story that relies on stereotypes and cultural truisms could have turned into something soapy and insensitive, but propelled by its leads and keen sense of modern comedy.”

“The highly bingeable series has excellent comedy writing and a strong cast who move the episodes along at a quick clip. But even with all its on-point humor, it has an undercurrent of seriousness,” Lily Moayeri from Under the Radar praised.

The series plot reads: “An agnostic s** podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love, but can their relationship survive their wildly different lives and meddling families?”

Nobody Wants This is based upon Erin’s real-life experience of falling in love with a Jewish man and converting to Judaism for love.

The creator says: “We thought it would be ripe territory for a relationship show, looking at and analyzing challenges in a relationship that felt very true to life, and not these sort of blown-out-of-proportion, manufactured challenges.”

Not only has the series been praised for its touching storylines and the different subjects it approaches throughout, it’s also been complimented for how refreshing it has been to see Bell and Brody have such a natural, authentic chemistry between them, making the rom-com feel even more realistic.

Fans of Nobody Wants This are already eagerly awaiting season two which has already been confirmed by Netflix.
