Holly Willoughby Fans Convinced Presenter Knew Phillip Schofield Was Leaving This Morning
Holly Willoughby fans are convinced she knew Phillip Schofield was leaving This Morning during their final week together.
Schofield, 61, shockingly announced that he was leaving the popular daytime TV show ‘with immediate effect’.
The Dancing On Ice presenter hosted the show for 21 years, 13 of which he presented alongside Willoughby, 42.
After hearing of Schofield’s exit from the show, people have watched back his final week with his co-presenter – and they are insisting that she already knew of his plans to leave.

Many viewers are convinced that there was tension between the two during their final programme.
In one clip that is circulating online, Willoughby can be seen visibly leaning away from Schofield, who is sitting beside her.
One person remarks: “Look how far away from him she is.”
Another adds: “Couldn’t be more awkward.”
“Holly acting so awkward, won’t even look at Phil,” a third comments.
A fourth agrees, writing: “Wow that body language.”
While somebody else says Willoughby appears to be ‘nearly hanging off her seat’.

Schofield announced his exit from the daytime show over the weekend.
On his Instagram story, he shared a statement which reads: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.
“Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind.
“I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.
“So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month.”
Since Schofield’s announcement, Willoughby has spoken out about his departure, saying ‘the sofa won’t feel the same without him’.
On her Instagram story, she says: “Hi everyone … It’s been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour.”

ITV has also shared a statement about Schofield’s exit.
It reads: “After more than 20 years on the This Morning sofa, Phillip Schofield has stepped back from ITV’s flagship morning show having presented his last episode on Thursday 18 May.”
The statement does go on to say that Schofield will continue presenting peak time shows for ITV – including next month’s The British Soap Awards as well as a new prime time series.
