This can either be a series or a film that everyone has raved about, but you just haven’t got around to watching yet.
Or maybe you’ll find a hidden gem that has gone under the radar.
Netflix viewers have recommended a new horror movie, but it has come with a warning after people have been left disturbed after watching it.

The Lodge is a 2019 horror movie that follows a soon-to-be stepmother who, along with her fiancé’s two children, becomes stranded at their rural lodge during Christmas.
She and the children then begin to experience a number of unexplained events that seem to be connected to her past.
The cast involves Riley Keough (Daisy Jones & The Six), Richard Armitage (Obsession) and Alicia Silverstone (Clueless).
One of the film’s writers, Sergio Casci – who is also known for his work on American Cousins – shared the news of The Lodge being released on Netflix through a post on X (previously known as Twitter).
He said: “My horror film The Lodge is finally available on Netflix UK. Warning – it’s very dark.”
At the time of writing, the movie is top of the movie charts on the streaming service and viewers are discussing it on social media.
One person says: “I just watched The Lodge on Netflix and I’m speechless.”
Someone else pens: “I watched The Lodge (2019) on Netflix. I wish I had not. I was fascinated by it for a while, until it got more and more nastily unsettling.”
“Just watched The Lodge on Netflix for a nice cheery January start,” adds a third.
“Hadn’t heard of 2019’s The Lodge before yesterday but now it’s on Netflix,” shares another viewer.
“A taut psychological drama high on atmospheric creeps. A smart script puts a twisty spin on the impact of childhood trauma, grief and resentment.”
A fifth comments: “I watched The Lodge yesterday. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it.”

In an interview with Slash Film, the film’s directors Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala revealed that they actually apologised to all staff members who were mothers because of how The Lodge tackles the theme of motherhood and children.
Franz explains: “As to your question of why we apologised, it’s because I think we wanted to do a horror film without one bad guy, without a monster.
“We wanted to show people being both good and bad, guilty and not guilty. And I think it’s the combination of all of it and the lack of communication that creates the tragedy or the horror. We like that you always see shades of grey.
“You should not know from the first scene who you should like or not like because of the character being the good guy or not. We want you to like everyone and also at certain moments dislike them.”
