Viewers are binge-watching a ’10/10′ thriller series that some say is ‘one of the best TV shows ever.’

The series, which has captivated audiences with its unique blend of psychological tension and dystopian intrigue, is being raved about on social media.

One fan writes: “This truly might be the best television show I’ve ever seen.”

Another adds: “An absolute masterclass in directing, acting, editing, suspense and storytelling.”

“Easily one of the freshest things I’ve ever watched,” shares a third. “Genuinely on the edge of my seat the entire episode.”

Somebody else simply says: “Wow. 10/10.”

It also has a seriously impressive 97% Rotten Tomatoes score and an 8.7 IMDb average.

The thriller series follows a world where employees undergo a controversial procedure that separates their work and personal memories.

This means that one version of their consciousness exists only at work, while the other remains oblivious to their job’s demands.

Though the premise appears simple, it dives into profound questions about identity, autonomy, and the cost of convenience.

Created by Dan Erickson, it’s led by Adam Scott and Britt Lower and stars powerhouse performers like Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Trammel Tillman.

Ben Stiller also directed some episodes, impressing fans and critics with his unexpected pivot into dystopian drama.

Fans are now early awaiting the second season of Severance, which is set to release on January 17, 2025, following a three-year gap.

Reflecting on the challenges of an upcoming season, Stiller told Variety: “I’ve never been through it before – a second season of anything. Everything I’ve done has gotten canceled back in the day. But, you know, I feel like there’s an expectation that the audience has – that they should have if they love something.

“For us, it’s just been the process of trying to live up to our expectation of what we think the show should be and commit to that.”

Hopefully, Severance season two lives up to expectations, with the first captivating audiences and setting a new standard for modern TV thrillers.
