Woman Marries Duvet And Says It’s The ‘Most Intimate’ Relationship Of Her Life
A woman has married her duvet and says it’s the ‘most intimate’ relationship of her life.
Everyone has a special relationship with their duvet – it keeps you warm at night and in the morning, you don’t want to leave it.
However, one woman has taken this love to extremes and has now tied the knot to hers.
Pascale Sellick appeared on ITV’s This Morning and opened up to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about her unusual nuptials.

During her appearance on the daytime programme, the woman revealed that she had an open wedding ceremony in Exeter with her single duvet on Valentine’s Day.
Sellick told the presenters: “I have [had] other duvets before but I’m always loyal to this one, it gives me warmth and comfort.
“It’s always there for me in time of sadness and happiness.”
The woman then clarified that her relationship is not s**ual, and that she and the duvet just have a connection.
She added: “It’s definitely not s**ual, it’s just like a friendship.”
Sellick went on to say that she has a boyfriend and he’s supportive of her nuptials to her duvet.

She continued: “Jonny, my boyfriend, understands I’m marrying the duvet for art and to come across a message, we have a really loving relationship.
“He’s not jealous of my duvet, in fact, he’s very proud of me.
“My duvet is a single at the moment, when I get married, it will get a double.”
Sellick explained that her marrying the duvet is a part of an art project which highlights loneliness, adding: “It’s kind of a message around Valentine’s people can feel sometimes a little bit lonely.
“So it’s like actually, you know what, take some time for self-worth, self-care and have some time under your duvet and marry your bedding. Why not?
“Everybody loves their duvet!”
Sellick’s wedding was actually planned by a local artist, named Anna Fitzgerald, who appeared on This Morning alongside her.
Fitzgerald explained: “It was organised by a group of artists who want to spread the message that it is okay to feel lonely on Valentine’s Day, and it is OK to have a duvet day.”
After watching Sellick’s appearance on This Morning, many viewers took to social media and reacted.
