A gang member’s mugshot has gone viral as people are ‘begging for his release’.

Derbyshire Police took to Twitter and confirmed that a team of officers had reportedly managed to detain an ‘Albanian led’ group from numerous areas across the UK for their ‘web of cannabis’.

In total, it’s believed that around £500,000 worth of marijuana was uncovered.

Although the force went on to describe in detail what happened when arresting the gang members, many people were left distracted by one of the men in particular.

It seemed as though everyone was a big fan of Mr Stephen Perry.

One person commented: “How do I go about gaining a visitors permit for Stephen please? Asking for a friend.”

Another added: “Stephen really didn’t do anything, it was all me. Please release him.”

“Stephen can grow a cannabis in me anytime…,” a third joked.

Joining in on the banter, a fourth said: “My man Stephen did nothing wrong. FREE him!”

Unfortunately for Perry’s fans, the gang member won’t be being released anytime soon.

He isn’t the first guy to have his mugshot go viral.

In 2014, Jeremy Meeks was nicknamed ‘The Blue-Eyed Bandit’ and ‘Jail Bae’ when his photograph was shared on social media.

According to The Sun, he now has a net worth of £4million and has modelled for numerous fashion brands.

From 2017 to 2019, Meeks was in a serious relationship with Topshop heiress Chloe Green and the pair now share a son, named Jayden, who was born in 2018.
