A couple’s gender reveal in San Fransico ended up going horribly wrong and the moment was caught on camera.

Emilie Jean recently took to TikTok and shared a clip of the parents-to-be setting off a pair of confetti cannons in a garden.

She captioned the post: “When Amazon mislabels the poppers.”

Once they had ‘popped’ the cannons, blue confetti began to rain down on them and they cheered at the fact it meant they must be having a boy.

However, one of their family members then rushed over and put a stop to the celebrations.

They revealed that there had been a huge mix-up and, in fact, the couple was going to be having a  girl.

Apparently, the family member claimed the poppers had been labelled ‘incorrectly’ so she’d picked up the wrong one.

The clip has been viewed a whopping 18.5million times and many TikTokers have left messages for the couple in the comments.

One person wrote: “You can tell the girl who planned it all looked mortified. Lol poor girl.”

Another added: “Amazon: Naw, it’s a boy now.”

Many people also took to the comments and said that the couple should get a refund and complain, as it ruined the special moment.

“Why would they do y’all dirty like that? From Amazon?” a viewer wrote. “Whyyy! They sell them at party stores.”

Pitching in, a second said: “Amazon worker is laughing, saying he’s getting someone so good.”
