According to The Sun, producers have supposedly agreed to continue the TV personality’s monthly fees of £1,500 to appear on the programme after it was reported that she won’t be returning for this series.
Although Channel 4 hasn’t released an official statement on the matter, a source told the publication: “Bosses paid Ellie her full fee for the show – they didn’t want her or Izzi worrying about money.
“Of course, they’ve honoured the payments – they take duty of care very seriously on the show.”
Last month, Warner’s partner, Nat Eddleston, was hit by a car outside Leeds city centre on March 18.
According to Leeds Live, West Yorkshire Police reportedly commented at the time: “The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
Warner has not publically spoken out since the incident.
However, The Sun claims that a source said: “Ellie is understandably in pieces and everyone is just hoping and praying Nat comes through this.
“Nat is Ellie’s absolute world. She has been totally overwhelmed with messages of love and support. She has barely left the hospital since this happened and Nat is getting brilliant care and treatment.”
Fans rushed to the reality star’s social media to send her well wishes following the devastating accident
One commented on a picture of the couple, saying: “Sending you lots of love. I had the same injuries 30 years ago in an accident and although it’s a tough road he will get through it.
“I’m only saying this so you know people get through it. Sending lots of positive vibes to you.”
A second said: “Hey girly, you keep those thoughts positive. I broke my back and neck in 5 places and I’m up and about. Nat’s absolutely got this!”
