PETA has called out Gordon Ramsay over a controversial TikTok video.

In a post on his social media channel, the chef is seen climbing into a lamb pen, rubbing his hands and announcing: “I’m going to eat you.”

Since the video has come out, the vice president of PETA, Elisa Allen, has spoken out against it, telling LADBible: “Gordon Ramsay is a callous man who makes a fool of himself: intimidating gentle lambs is loutish, not amusing.”

She added: “What would be funny is if his children went vegan and disowned him – much in the way Elon Musk’s daughter disowned her father.

“Those lambs are just babies who want little from life but the chance to live it and not end up in this moron’s – or anyone else’s – mouth.”

The video has gained 1.1million likes, but despite this, fans of the chef have also voiced their disapproval of the TikTok post.

One fan commented: “Alright I think Gordon has finally lost it. Someone do something before it’s too late.”

Another person commented: “I’m not even vegetarian but this is very sad.”

Fina“Gordon I think you need a break from TikTok,” a third remarked.

However, some fans have seen the funny side of his video, with one fan replying: “People in these comments need to learn how to take a joke.”

Another person commented: “If anyone wants to know what Chef Ramsay is like in person off camera, this is it.”

The chef has recently revealed that he actually likes vegan food and has started implementing plant-based options on his menus.

He has even confessed to cutting down on meat for health reasons and has been cooking alternative meals.
