Gordon Ramsay has confirmed that pineapple does not belong on pizza. Let’s reminisce the hilarious moment for National Pizza Day…
The 54-year-old made the comments while appearing on The Nightly Show, back in 2017.
He was ordering takeaway for the audience when somebody in the crowd shouted out a request for a Hawaiin, which is traditionally topped with tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and pineapple.

But he savagely shut them down by responding: “You don’t put f***ing pineapple on pizza.”
Continuing with his order, he said: “So, 10 Pepperoni, 10 Margherita ― and no pineapple anywhere.”
The incident sparked a huge debate on Twitter, with Chef Kunal Kapur commenting: “Personally, I’m not a fan of pineapple on a pizza.
“I don’t think it’s a good combination. But at the same time, I am not hardcore about it.
“I don’t have a problem with people who prefer pineapple on a pizza.”
Chef Nishant Choubey said: “I don’t have a problem with the Hawaiian pizza. I don’t appreciate people who make a big deal about it.
“One should not impose their opinions on others, so I disagree with Ramsay.”
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if you think pineapple does in fact belong on a pizza, it just means your opinion is WRONG.
