Gordon Ramsay has admitted that he’s ‘turning vegan’.

In a chat with Yahoo, the 54-year-old said he’s introducing more plant-based meals into his diet, but he’s struggling to cut out dairy.

He said: “Dairy! As a chef, I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to indulge in rich dairies like butter, cream, and milk.

“Oat milk really helped me to maintain that richness in a healthy way. My father passed away at 53 of a heart attack because of a poor diet. I want to set a good example for my children.”

The Michelin star chef then pointed out that he’s noticed many benefits of adopting a vegan lifestyle.

He explained: “It re-energised my love of food and made me more creative in the kitchen. It’s too easy with a filet mignon. It has made me dig deeper, which is a huge advantage.

“I want people to know how seriously I take this movement [to transition to eating more plants]. It’s had such a positive impact on my life and my level of fitness. I have no intention of slowing down and I feel great.”

Previously, the Hell’s Kitchen star has mocked those who promote a vegan diet.

TikTok star ‘That Vegan Teacher,’ whose real name is Kadie Diekmeyer, posted a song addressing the chef, in which she blasted him for eating meat.

Playing the ukelele, she sang: “Eating animals is wrong Gordon Ramsay. Hurting animals is wrong, Gordon Ramsay.

“Share this song and if you call me a doughnut, that’s fine. As long as you’re vegan from now on.”

But Ramsay wasn’t having any of it.

Responding to the activist, he shared a clip of himself tucking into a beef burger and called the social media star a ‘doughnut’.
