Gordon Ramsay’s top chef has reportedly ‘left his restaurant’ after an ‘explosive kitchen incident’.
According to the Daily Mail, the 55-year-old employed awarding-winning chef Matt Worswick to run The Savoy Grill, in London, but he’s now left after just 7 months.
A source told the publication: “We are all shocked.

“There was an explosive incident in the kitchen and then Matt announced he was leaving.”
Worswick confirmed his departure from The Savoy Grill in a chat with the Daily Mail.
He stated: “My journey has come to an end at the Savoy. I’d like to thank all the staff, past and present, for all their hard work and dedication.
“I’d like to wish Gordon Ramsay all the very best and continued success for the future.”
It’s believed that Ramsay was abroad at the time of the alleged incident.
Although it’s not been confirmed what the incident was about, Worswick appears to be one of many top chefs who have left their roles over disagreements in the kitchen.

Recently, culinary star Daniel Humm announced he would be leaving the Davies and Brook restaurant, inside Claridge’s, as his ‘vision’ didn’t match the establishments.
Apparently, the 45-year-old had an idea to make the menu all-vegan but the hotel insisted that meat, fish, and dairy should be kept as options.
As Humm didn’t see eye to eye with Claridge’s, he took to social media and confirmed his exit.
He said: “Standing behind this mission, and what we believe in, is most important and is unfortunately not something we can compromise on.
“I’ve never been more excited about cooking in my entire career and I’m excited for all that the future holds for us.”
