Cheryl McGregor and Quran McCain, from Rome, Georgia, who have a 37-year age gap, confirmed their happy news on Instagram.
They captioned it: “She said yes. You make me a simp but I love you and it’s nothing but forward from here.”

They also shared a video of the moment McCain got down on one knee inside a restaurant. And it was all kinds of emotional!
Hundreds of followers have liked the post and many have taken to the comments to share their congratulations.
One person said: “‘Bout time king. Make an honest lady out our queen by putting that ‘Mrs’ title by that name! Congratulations my friends. I wish y’all so much happiness.”
Another added: “Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you both.”
The lovebirds have taken TikTok by storm by opening up about their life as a couple.
However, they often receive negative messages telling them their relationship is ‘wrong’ and can’t be genuine.
Some followers have even suggested that they’re together as a publicity stunt and questioned if McGregor is wealthy.

However, the couple also has a lot of supporters who often flood their posts with kind messages as they believe they’re ‘freaking cute’.
