Halyna Hutchins’ husband has hired lawyers that specialise in ‘wrongful death’ cases, according to reports.
Matthew Hutchins, whose wife tragically passed away when Alec Baldwin ‘dispatched a prop gun‘ on the film set of Rust, is believed to have retained a Los Angeles law firm to handle the case, reports TMZ.
However, the firm’s representative has reportedly declined to comment on whether he plans to file a suit.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a representative said: “Respecting Mr Hutchins’ request for privacy as the family grieves the loss of Halyna Hutchins, the firm will not be making any statements at this time.”
Reportedly, Matthew Hutchins is a lawyer himself and has worked within corporate law.
After the tragic shooting of his wife, the father-of-one said he was left with ‘no words’ to sum up his devastation at the incident.
He told the Insider: “I don’t think there are words to communicate the situation.
“I am not going to be able to comment about the facts or the process of what we’re going through right now, but I appreciate that everyone has been very sympathetic.
“I think that we will need a little bit of time before we can really encapsulate her life in a way that is easy to communicate.”

Alec Baldwin also broke his silence on the tragedy with a statement on Twitter.
He penned: “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours.
“My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna.”
