Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘almost gave their son, Archie, a different name’.

According to People magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who recently made a ‘secret visit’ to the UK – also had the name Harrison in mind for their first child.

Sherry McBain, who is a nursing officer in the RAF, reportedly told PA that she found out this information when her wife was chatting to Markle and mentioned that her own son was called Harrison.

As reported by People, McBain said: “[Markle] was like ‘Harrison, that’s Archie’s middle name,’ and Mandy was like ‘Yeah, I know’.

“They were just having a chat because Harry and Meghan couldn’t decide between Archie and` Harrison for the first name.”

The nursing officer reportedly went on to say that during the Invictus Games, Markle came off as ‘really open’ and ‘really friendly’.

She added: “Harrison was drawing pictures and telling her that it was a picture of a tram.

“I don’t think it quite looked like a tram, so she was very gracious and said that’s a brilliant tram, so he was delighted.”

Prince Harry Reveals How ‘Secret Visit’ To Queen Went

Reportedly, Prince Harry also spoke out about his eldest child while at the event.

Apparently, the Duke has said that his son has not shown any interest in being a Prince or Duke so far. Instead, Archie supposedly wants to be a pilot.

He reportedly commented: “When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days it’s a pilot – a helicopter pilot obviously – or Kwazii from Octonauts.

“If you’re laughing, then you’ve seen that.”

Heartwarmingly, Prince Harry supposedly went on to say that he couldn’t be ‘prouder’ of Archie.
