Dr Ali, being the curious doctor that she is, decided to dig into this question and share her findings.

In the TikTok video that she posted, she said: “Overall, this is going to vary from couple to couple, and people define s** differently.
“Does it include foreplay, or is it just good ol’ p**is-v**inal action? The studies that were done look at p**ile-v**inal s**.
“So, in 2005, when the study was conducted, the average length was 5.4 minutes.”

While making it to the end of the song might surpass the average from 2005, it still falls short of the desirable length.
Not to worry, though, because the average length appears to be on the rise.
Dr Ali sheds some light on the evolution of the average duration, saying: “Then again in 2008, they did another study, and the desirable length was seven to 10 minutes [corrected to seven to 13 minutes].
“And then in 2020, they surveyed heterosexual women, and they said 13.4 minutes was average.”
So, according to heterosexual women, the average length has nearly tripled since 2005.
Talk about raising the bar.
Now, the million-dollar question is, how did this significant increase happen?
