Human remains have been found near Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s LA mansion, according to reports.

The bones were discovered by landscape workers on an estate on River Rock Road in Montecito, reports The Sun.

Although it isn’t clear who the property belongs to at this point, the workers immediately stopped the project and called the police to investigate the findings.

“Work stopped right away on the property and the cops were called in,” a source informed the publication. “It’s quite a lot of drama for a place like Montecito.”

The paper has also clarified that the body is in no way connected with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

According to a forensic anthropologist called in by investigators, the remains appear to be the incomplete skeleton of a Native American who lived in the area centuries ago.

Prince Harry and Meghan moved to the £11million mansion last year after quitting their roles as Senior Royals.

Initially, the couple lived in Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills property. However, they then decided to set up a permanent residence in the exclusive neighbourhood of Montecito.

Since moving to the US, the Duke has landed himself a string of new jobs and announced deals with the likes of Netflix.

Most recently, the 36-year-old teamed up with Oprah Winfrey on an Apple TV show about mental health.

In The Me You Can’t See, which aired on May 21, the pair star alongside several special guests, including singer Lady Gaga, actress Glenn Close, and NBA players DeMar DeRozan and Langston Galloway.

The show involves the stars having ‘honest discussions about mental health and emotional wellbeing’.
