A husband decided to get creative when his and his wife’s date nights out were cancelled during the coronavirus crisis. So, instead of his taking his wife out for a lovely meal, he made a quarantine home restaurant and he even provided a fancy menu to make it feel as real as possible!
The doting husband award has to go to Cheffrey, which he goes by on Twitter, as he decided to bring date night home for his other half by creating a full menu for his quarantine home restaurant, “Quarantine Grill”.
To make their night in as romantic as possible, Cheffrey pulled out all the stops to impress his wife. To escape the difficult circumstances we are all facing, he wanted to distract his wife by creating a three-course candlelit dinner.
From crab cakes to strawberry cheesecake for dessert, he made a mouthwatering array of meals for his wife to wine and dine on.
Proud of his fanciful gesture, he took to Twitter to share the menu he had printed out and wrote: “Took my wife to Quarantine Grill.”
Since showing off his date night efforts, the post has gone viral online with over 288,000 likes and 41,000 retweets.

Thousands commented on Cheffrey’s post, with women asking why their husbands hadn’t gone to the same efforts to cook them up a nice meal – with some even begging for him to be their husband!
One person commented: “I’m over here stocking up on dry goods and peanut butter for the apocalypse and this king serving crab cakes shrimp and red bass salmon… smh.”
Meanwhile, another said: “Week later he gonna regret using all those ingredients as he’ll have nothing left.”
A third simply commented: “Simply romantic”.
