An influencer is facing legal action over a gender reveal stunt he has alleged took place at the Great Pyramids in Egypt.
YouTuber Siamand Mustafa reportedly took advantage of World Liver Day to announce the sex of his and wife, Shahad’s unborn child.
On his channel, a video was shared of the Syrian couple reacting to the blue light display.

According to the Mirror, Mustafa told his followers that he had spent days arranging for the Pyramids to be lit up blue.
But Egyptian officials aren’t happy about these claims, especially as people have taken to social media and asked why the Pyramids would be altered for his celebrations.
Whenever there are any events held at the historic site, Mohamed Abdelaziz, who runs the Sound and Lights Company, makes arrangements.
And he’s claimed that the Pyramids were lit up blue for a completely different reason.
He explained: “A few days ago, the Pyramids were lit up in blue and orange in coordination between the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Ministry of Health on the occasion of World Liver Day, as well as on the occasion of the celebration of the elimination of Hepatitis C in Egypt.”
Abdelaziz then claimed that the site is never used for advertising, adding: “There are no private parties that take place in the pyramids area.”
The former minister of tourism, Walid al-Batouty, has dubbed the couple’s video ‘misleading’ in order to achieve ‘false fame’.
He said: “The fictitious act committed by the Syrian YouTuber, promoting a misleading video of a gender party for his newborn lighting the Giza pyramids, is nothing but a clear lie aimed at false fame.”
