Donald Trump has responded to the news his ex-wife, Ivana, suddenly died, aged 73.
The former President took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, following the news she had passed away on July 14.
He said he would remember her as a ‘wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life’.

“Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric,” he penned. “She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her.”
Ivana Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, paid tribute to her mother, tweeting: “Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She lived life to the fullest – never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance.
“I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”
The Trump family also released a statement regarding the tragedy.
It read: “Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination.
“She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”
Former New York City mayor and Trump associate Rudy Giuliani paid his respects on Twitter, writing: “Ivana Trump was a truly talented, creative and beautiful person.
“She contributed greatly, particularly to New York. Remarkably, with all the massive distractions, she and President Donald J Trump gave the world exceptionally good, balanced and decent children and grandchildren.”
According to ABC News, paramedics rushed to the 73-year-old’s Manhattan property in response to a cardiac arrest call.
Officials have reportedly stated that she died from natural causes.
Before her death, Ivana Trump worked as a senior executive at her then-husband’s empire and later on in life, she published several bestselling books and launched a clothing line.
She married Trump in 1977 and their divorce was finalised in 1992.
