Jack Osbourne Mocked Over ‘Ridiculous Baby Name’

Jack Osbourne has been mocked over his ‘ridiculous baby name’. 

The media personality has welcomed a daughter named Maple Artemis with his fiancée, Aree Gearhart.

Osbourne announced the name by posting an adorable photo of his fourth child wearing a bear outfit on Instagram, alongside the caption: “I’m very happy to announce Maple Artemis Osbourne! Born 7-09-2022. 7.13lbs. Aree and Maple are doing great and are happy and healthy.”

So far, the post has garnered more than 48,000 likes and hundreds have taken to the comments, where they’ve been left divided by the name choice.

One responded: “What a ridiculous name… She isn’t a dang pancake. Poor baby!”

Another user added: “You are definitely a girl dad! Congrats to you and Aree… but what’s going on with the name Maple? Are you wanting to get Canadian citizenship too? I do like the name Artemis (very cool), and she is a cutie!”

“You realise mean kids will call her ‘Maple Tree’ when she starts school,” a third remarked. “Congratulations on number four.”

However, the majority of Osbourne’s followers adored the name and took to the comments to say so.

“Congratulations! I love her name, what a great idea,” one said.

In agreement, a second commented: “That’s wonderful. What a beautiful baby with a beautiful name and family. I know your mum and dad must feel like they are top of the world. It’s the best feeling in the world seeing your grandbabies and kids happy and healthy.”

Osbourne also shares Pearl, 9, Andy, 6, and Minnie, 4, with his ex-wife, Lisa Stelly, who he separated from in 2018. According to US Weekly, the 36-year-old met Gearhart on a dating app later that year.
