James Bond fans are losing it over a Henry Cavill advert.

People believe the British actor may take on the iconic role after appearing in a commercial for No. 1 Botanicals, which is a sparkling water infused with herbal extracts.

In one ad scene, Cavill is seen wearing a suit while exiting a bar. He then heads towards an Aston Martin, which is well-known for being the 007 agent’s car.

At this point, he can be heard saying: “Life will always have its sweet temptations, some more tempting than others.”

Fans of the franchise quickly took to the comments section and discussed the scene.

One penned: “He really needs to be the next James Bond! 007!”

“Hello there Mr Bond,” said a second. “We’ve been expecting you.”

A third added: “The extended version, woohoo! All this needs is 007-themed music!”

Pitching in, a fourth mused: “Feels like a James Bond audition,” before adding: “I approve.”

It’s not the first time that the actor has been linked to the iconic role, having previously spoken out about whether he would pick up where Daniel Craig left off.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, the 38-year-old was asked if he would be open to taking on the character.

“Time will tell,” he responded. “You don’t know which direction they want to take Bond in and so I like to say that everything’s always on the table.”

Cavill went on to admit that he hasn’t watched the most recent film in the franchise because he’s ‘had no time’.

Ladbrokes has weighed in on the star’s chance of getting the role, with a spokesperson commenting: “He’d be a perfect fit for the role and with Bond chiefs always on the lookout, it seems like the long-time frontrunner may well be the best man for the job.

“A not so subtle reference to 007 in his latest video has led to a flurry of bets on Henry Cavill replacing Daniel Craig.”
