The statement reads: “Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit.
“His charisma, warmth, compassion for others and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered.”
They then revealed the cause of Jansen’s death, which has been confirmed by the Medical Examiner.
“Though it offers little solace,” Hayden says. “The Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden passing was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications.”
“We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support towards our family as we navigate this unthinkable loss, and ask that we be gifted our privacy during this time of mourning.”
The family rounded off their emotional statement by saying: “We love you so much Jansen and you will be in our hearts forever.”
Jansen was reportedly found by his friend, Benjamin Brown, who had grown concerned about him after he failed to attend a meeting they’d organised.

He had enjoyed voice acting roles in Ice Age: The Meltdown and The X’s.
He also featured in the Nickelodeon movie The Last Day of Summer and in AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Jansen’s fans quickly took to social media to pay tribute to him, with one writing: “Rest in peace. You were a great man and an incredible artist.”
Another person adds: “RIP. God bless your family.”
While a third fan writes: “Rest in peace… your work was beautiful, may you continue painting in peace up there.”
“RIP Brother,” somebody else comments. “I hope you are at peace wherever you are.”
Another says: “My heart breaks for the Panettiere family. Rest in peace Jansen! We love you.”
Jansen is survived by his and Hayden’s parents, Lesley Vogel and Skip Panettiere.
