Jason Momoa has made a subtle move to show his ‘support for Johnny Depp’ in his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.

The Aquaman actor, who starred opposite Heard in the DC franchise, reportedly began following Depp on Instagram shortly after the trial began.

According to Gamesrant, this was apparently spotted by Momoa’s fans who supposedly keep tabs on his social media activity.

Take a look at the making of Aquaman 2 in the clip below…

Addressing the actor’s potential support of Depp, one said on Twitter: “In the most telling moves of showing support, Jason Momoa has followed Johnny Depp on Instagram. Heard’s own co-star has chosen his side. Think about that. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp.”

Whoa! Jason Momoa is now following Johnny Depp on Instagram! That’s a huge offering of silent support!!! Looks like Scamber [Heard] is losing allies by the second,” a second agreed.

During Depp and Heard’s trial, there has been plenty of discussions online around the actress’s major role in Aquaman.

Many people have argued that the star should be ‘replaced’ in the series with someone else. There’s even a petition online which has managed to amass over two million signatures.

The fan who made the appeal wrote: “Amber Heard has been exposed as a domestic abuser by Johnny Depp. In his $50million lawsuit, Johnny Depp describes many incidents of domestic abuse that he suffered at the hands of his (then) wife.

“Since Heard’s divorce from Johnny Depp, she has systematically crusaded to ruin Depp in Hollywood, repeating multiple accounts of fake incidents in which she had actually abused Johnny Depp, but lied and created false accounts of him being the abuser.”

After making the allegations, they continued: “As Amber Heard is a known and proven domestic abuser, Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment should and must remove Heard from its Aquaman 2 film project.”
