Jennifer Lopez has revealed her new name after marrying Ben Affleck in Las Vegas on July 17.
According to Buzzfeed, legal documents state that the superstar has legally taken the actor’s surname.
This was also confirmed on Lopez’s blog, OnTheJLo, where she signed off: “With love, Mrs Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

Since the singer acknowledged the name change, fans have taken to Twitter and reacted.
“JAff or JLaff doesn’t have the same ring to it,” one tweeted.
Confused, another asked: “Why would she change her name?”
Fuming, a third person commented: “JLo is dumb as hell for changing her last name to Affleck like YOU ARE JLO BUT JAF? To think she got rid of the one iconic thing about her for a man silly man too…”
Others took to the social media platform and said it was ‘thoughtful’ of Lopez to change her surname.
“That’s actually very cute and thoughtful, good for them,” a fan enthused.
A second pitched in, penning: “I think this is just pure love. Good for them for not making a spectacle.”
After the couple’s wedding was confirmed, a resurfaced clip emerged of Lopez from 2003, before the pair called off their first engagement in 2004.
Appearing on the Ben & Jen: A Dateline Special, the ‘On The Floor’ singer told journalist Pat O’Brien: “I think I’m going to stay with Jennifer Lopez, but my name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously.”
The pair then joked about ‘JLo’ becoming ‘JAf,’ with the star admitting: “It doesn’t have quite the same ring to it, but you’ve gotta make sacrifices!”
