Jessie J has been filmed breaking down on stage hours after announcing she suffered a miscarriage on Instagram.
A clip published on TMZ shows her telling fans about the ‘hardest year that she’s ever had to get through’.
Opening up, she said: “I decided to have a baby by myself.

“And then by a miracle, it worked, for a little while, and yesterday… yeah. Yesterday was f***ing sh*t.
“I wanted to be here tonight because the one thing that I believe in the most, in this whole entire universe is being human and being vulnerable and being real.”
She continued. “I’ve never felt more alone than I have in the past week.
“But I don’t feel alone right now.”
The ‘Flashlight’ singer explained in her initial Instagram post that she wanted to go ahead with the show despite what had happened because she felt it would ‘help’.

The 33-year-old said: “What I do know is that I want to sing tonight. Not because I’m avoiding the grief or the process, but because I know singing tonight will help me.
“I have done two shows in two years and my soul needs it. Even more today.
“I started singing when I was young for joy, to fill my soul and self-love therapy, that hasn’t ever changed and I have to process this my way.”
The star was flooded with messages of support in the comments section and praised for being so ‘open’ and ‘vulnerable’.
Paloma Faith wrote: “Jessie you are 100% doing the right thing. I had a miscarriage on a film set where I was filming and I just kept filming …. You get your joy from singing and you need your joy more than ever. You will and should have a baby…. Women are amazing!”
Fellow pop star Pixie Lott wrote: “I’m so sorry Jessie sending loads of love.”
TV presenter Laura Whitmore commented: “Oh babe, I’m sorry. Sending love.”
