Amber Heard’s sister has claimed that Johnny Depp ‘joked about putting their dog in the microwave’.
Whitney Henriquez was testifying in the defamation trial when she recounted the alleged incident.
She claimed that the former couple had an argument that ‘lasted 18 hours’ when they were all travelling in a car together.

The Aquaman star’s sister alleged: “Amber and Johnny were sitting in the back, I was in the front with Starling [Jenkins], the driver.
“At some point, I heard the back window open and Johnny is holding our dog out the window.
“I froze, I was scared. I just remember thinking… I knew how inebriated he was and the dog was very small… I thought if she twitched or if he lost her somehow, she was just going to go out the window.”
She continued with her allegations, adding: “He brought the dog back into the car and he was just laughing this really loud, scary… It was almost like a cackle.
“He then made some joke about putting her in the microwave. That was the joke after that, putting the dog in the microwave.”

Earlier on in the trial, Heard also testified about the alleged incident, claiming to jurors: “He [Depp] grabs this teacup Yorkie and holds Boo out of the window of the moving car, and he’s howling like an animal while holding the dog out the window.
“And everyone in the car – I’ll never forget it – everyone just froze. No one did anything.
“I too was torn as to what I should do because I didn’t want to do anything to cause him to react and drop the dog.
“It was just this eerie moment where he was howling and holding this animal out the window… and I have this eerie memory of no one really reacting to him.”
