Amber Heard has claimed during her testimony in Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against her that he ‘held his pet dog out of the window and howled like an animal’.
The actress took to the stand at Virginia’s Fairfax County Court and recalled an alleged incident with the Pirates of the Caribbean star that apparently took place in March 2013.
She claimed that Depp had consumed an abundant amount of alcohol and cocaine and ‘held the animal out of the moving car window’ amid his accusations that she had been unfaithful.

Recalling the alleged incident, Heard said: “He grabs this teacup Yorkie and holds Boo out of the window of the moving car, and he’s howling like an animal while holding the dog out the window.
“And everyone in the car – I’ll never forget it – everyone just froze. No one did anything.
“I too was torn as to what I should do because I didn’t want to do anything to cause him to react and drop the dog.
“It was just this eerie moment where he was howling and holding this animal out the window… and I have this eerie memory of no one really reacting to him.”
Elsewhere in the trial, Heard claimed that when Depp was sober he would be sweet. However, she alleged that after consuming alcohol and cocaine, he would apparently behave in an abusive manner.

She also told the court about the first time the actor allegedly assaulted her and claimed it was over a tattoo on his arm.
Testifying, the actress alleged: “To me, it just looked like black marks, I didn’t know what it said, so I said, ‘What does it say?’ and he said it says, ‘Wino’.
“I laughed because I thought he was joking and he slapped me across the face.”
Appearing emotional, she continued with the claims, adding: “He slapped me again. It was clear it wasn’t a joke anymore.
“You would think you’d have a response, but I, as a woman, had never been hit like that. I’m an adult and I’m sitting next to the man I love and he slapped me for no reason it seemed like. I missed the point. It was that stupid.”
