Johnny Depp’s doctor has recalled the moment he ‘found the actor’s fingertip’ at the Amber Heard defamation trial

A pre-recorded deposition from Dr David Kipper was played in the Virginia courtroom on April 18, in which he claimed he cleaned the Hollywood star’s wound following an alleged incident with his ex-wife in Australia in March 2015.

When Dr Kipper supposedly realised what had happened, he reportedly told others to look for the fingertip and it is believed to have been discovered by the chef, who allegedly found it on the kitchen floor.

Following this, Depp reportedly went to the hospital to receive further treatment for the alleged injury.

Reportedly, Heard’s lawyer claimed that the 58-year-old informed emergency room staff that the supposed incident had happened through cutting himself with a knife.

Dr Kipper apparently went on to say that he spoke to the Aquaman star on the day of the alleged incident.

He claimed that she didn’t appear to have any injuries. However, she had reportedly said that Depp had ‘thrown her into a tennis table and also pushed her into a fridge’.

These allegations were rejected by Depp.

During the pre-recorded deposition, Dr Kipper – who still serves as the actor’s physician – claimed that he had never seen an altercation take place between Depp and Heard. He reportedly also stated that neither reported any abuse to him.

The defamation trial was initiated after the 35-year-old penned an article for The Washington Post back in 2018.

Although he never was mentioned by name, Depp has argued that Heard defamed him in the written piece.
