Johnny Depp fans have spotted that the actor keeps bringing along a ‘bizarre’ item to his defamation trial against Amber Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has been seen snacking on gummy bears throughout the high-profile case.
Several snaps of the sweet at his courtroom table have been published online which has led many to take to Twitter and share their thoughts.

One tweeted: “Johnny Depp has me craving gummy bears now.”
In agreement, a second said: “I am going to go to the grocery store and buy myself a pack of gummy bears… Nice treat.”
Alongside a screenshot of Depp and his sweet snack, a third commented: “Wait, are they eating gummy bears? Haha, I want some.”
“Johnny Depp doodling, eating gummy bears, smiling and chuckling is my whole spirit animal now,” a fourth wrote.
Another added: “Johnny Depp bringing gummy bears to court is so powerful to me. Mostly because I love gummy bears.”
Elsewhere in the trial, fans of the actor have also spotted him sketching.
Joking about the moment, one said: “Who needs a court sketch artist when you have Johnny?”
In wrapping up his testimony, Depp told the courtroom that he was a ‘victim of domestic abuse’.
When his attorney, Camille Vasquez, said: “What did you say in response when Ms Heard said, ‘Tell the world, Johnny, tell them I Johnny Depp, a man, am a victim too of domestic violence?’”
The actor responded: “I said yes, I am.”
Depp has taken his ex-wife, Heard, to court in order to sue her for allegedly defaming him in a 2018 piece she wrote for The Washington Post. He has claimed that she made him out to be an abuser, despite not directly naming him.
